Queen Victoria Building

It’s not the first time I’ve been to this mall but I still enjoy the beautiful architecture and the details in it like the floor, the clock, the ceiling, the windows, the stairs etc. What do you think?

There was a cafe in the basement where we tried some of the cakes and Italian snacks. They were delicious but I totally forgot the name. Sorry…….

Paddy’s Market

After we had lunch at Super Bowl, we went to Paddy’s Market which is a traditonal market but it’s different compared to the traditional market in our city. It’s clean and organized. It’s perfect if you want to get souvenirs. Lots of kangaroo and koala toys from tiny size to big ones, boomerangs, etc. It’s located in front of the gate of the China Town in Sidney.

Super Bowl Chinese Restaurant

Super Bowl Chinese Restaurant is very famous to all the Asian people in Sidney. First time I went there 1997, they were already exist. They are very popular for the congee, but they also have lots of other varieties of menus and they are all good in average. This place opens till late at night, so it’s also a perfect place for supper.

Taroonga Zoo

We like going to the zoo during our family holiday. So we took our kids to Taroonga Zoo in Sidney. The place was huge and had beautiful views along the way. We took a ferry from Circular Quay to get there. Once again you can enjoy the beautiful view from the ferry on the way there and you can even took a picture with the back ground of Sidney Opera House.

They let their peacock walking around freely inside the food court so that we can see it very close.

Since there were twelve of us, we split into three groups so that we could go faster going through every single cage considering the place was huge. Our kids enjoyed every single moment there and yet they learned more about the animals.

They have this huge cage which look like a small garden with fish pond, little ducks and birds around. We had to go through double gates to enter this place so that the birds and the ducks wouldn’t go outside this place.

Bondi Beach, Sidney

After taking pictures @ Hyde Park, we went to Bondi Junction by tramp because my bff Shirley said they have nice shopping centre but we left soon after we heard of the fire alarm sound. So we switched right away to Bondi Beach and the kids loved it. They took off off their shoes and play with the sand.

Hyde Park

Thanks to Charles from Legenda Tour and Travel chose Pullman hotel for us when we stayed in Sidney. This hotel is across the Hyde Park where we could take pictures and it’s closed to China town and the city. There were countless stores and restaurants around the area. The hotel’s still partly renovated. It’s used to be Marriot hotel but now changed. The double bed room is large enough if you are traveling with two kids. So you don’t have to go with separate rooms due to holiday, we want to cuddle more with our kids, right :)

I met this adorable waiter in the restaurant at the hotel during breakfast. He’s 74 years old but he looks like sixty years old. He’s very friendly and funny. I asked him what’ s his secret to look younger and joyful. He said,” Follow God! That’s the key. When you follow God, if one door shut, the other door is open.” Hmmmm…….. That’s so true. It reminded me I have experienced the same situation several times in my life. Just trust God completely. He will not forsake you. That always bring us full in joy. God bless you all.

Golden Century Restaurant

My father in law went to this restaurant few years ago and think that this is a must go place if we go to Sidney. So he booked for us from Surabaya so that his sons and his grandchildren must go there and try. He’s afraid that we were gonna miss this restaurant if he didn’t book for us. Well, luckily we obeyed him, we all love the food and forget all about seafood allergy. Hahahhaha

Hurricane ( the famous ribs)

Finally, we got to try the famous Hurricane after a long walk from Mrs Macquarie’s chair, Sidney Opera House, took a ferry to Darling Harbor and along the side walk enjoying the beautiful view. Then, starving! There were pork and beef ribs. We tried all of them. Both were good. You should try when you visit there:)

What a beautiful Sidney.

It was surprisingly beautifully sunny when we arrived in Sidney. My friend flied from Melbourne to Sidney one day earlier than me and also with Jet Star said the weather was bad and the plane was shaking. She even got air sick. I was worried that It would happen to me too and made me pray and told God what was bothering me. Praise God the plane went smooth and the weather was beautiful and a little bit too good to be true indeed considering what people told me.

Few days before that, I asked God’s grace for me and my families to be able to enjoy this holiday at the most of it. So He answered my prayer by showering us with His favor in every circumstances. Even little thing like finding a cheap parking space in China town which every body knows it’s almost impossible to get on the weekend. As you know, car parks in buildings are so expensive in the city. As soon as we mentioned about God’s favor, we got the space. So that we didn’t waste our time looking around. Yeeeeey…..

One more thing. When you go for holiday with lots of people, sometimes it’s hard to make every thing in harmony according exactly what you want. But this holiday has been a perfect pleasure for all of us. Every body was happy and satisfied. Even Warren’s sister who’s on the wheelchair said so. Hallelujah…..

Remember! If you always invite God to interfere from tiniest little thing to the hardest one, He will always be happy to pour out His favor. Sometimes things can get very complicated but when you come to Him, He will give you a better endurance and heavenly wisdom to conquer it. God bless you.

First day we went to Mrs. Macquarie’s chair. Mrs Macquarie was the wife of Major-General Lachlan Macquarie, Governor of New South Wales from 1810 to 1821. Folklore has it that
she used to sit on the rock and watch for ships from Great Britain
sailing into the harbour. She was known to visit the area and sit
enjoying the panoramic views of the harbour. From this area you can see Sidney Opera House and take pictures with beautiful back ground.

Shirley is my best friend since were babies because our moms are also best friends. We went to childhood together. Even we fought a few times, we still remain friends always. We can talk about everything. That’s what friends are for, right. She’s been moving to Sudney since she attended University there. I thank her so much for taking a week off from work just to give us accompany. Very sweet of her.

I love you, Shir. Muuuuuach XXOOXXOO
